Megan Conroy is an Orange County, N.Y. native and an associate attorney with Blustein, Shapiro, Frank & Barone, LLP, a law firm with offices in Goshen and Warwick. Ms. Conroy helps people protect their assets from nursing homes and long-term care costs, and designs and implements complex and high net worth estate plans.

In 2018, Ms. Conroy was awarded the Outstanding New Lawyer Award from the Women’s Bar Association of Orange and Sullivan Counties (WBAOSC), and selected by the Junior League of Orange County as one of Orange County’s Rising Stars. She is also a graduate of Leadership Orange, the county’s premier leadership training program.

Ms. Conroy is a magna cum laude graduate of the College of Saint Rose and received her law degree from Albany Law School. She is admitted to practice law in New York State and has studied international law in Greece, Turkey, Italy, France, Monaco, and England.

Ms. Conroy is a member of the Kiwanis Club of Minisink Valley and the Junior League of Orange County. Her professional associations include the New York State Bar Association (Trusts & Estates, Elder Law, and Business Law sections), the Women’s Bar Association of Orange and Sullivan Counties, and the Hudson Valley Estate Planning Council. She also dedicates time to her local community by serving on the Board of Directors at the Orange County Farm Bureau and the Cornell Cooperative Extension of Orange County.

Ms. Conroy is passionate about the unique products and services that her home county has to offer. In her free time, she can be found sampling local foods and beverages, spending time with her dog, Riley, gardening, or tending to her chickens.
